Used to continue semi-conducting strand shielding found in solid dielectric cables at 5kV and above. Usable for indoor or outdoor applications and stable at elevated temperature up to 130C (266F). Semi-conducting (low resistivity) and retains conductivity during installation when stretched. Excellent resistance to cracking or checking from solvents, UV, or moisture. Not oil resistant. Do not use in splicing and terminating cables with oil or slippery compounds. Meets requirement of ASTM-D4388, Type IV and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
