These will fit the front on standard beetles 65-77 and the rear on 68-79 Always replany brake shoe that has had contamination like oil or grease on them. Even though they look clean they will absorb the oil and cause slippage. All brake shoes/pads are sold in sets of four shoes/pads. Enough to do two wheels per same axle.
