Used without a keeper, these window sash locks mount atop the innermost sash and engage into the checkrail of the top sash. Replacing loose-fitting, worn or missing sash locks can help restore and increase the safety and security of the home or office. These cam-action sash locks feature a deep offset latch with a 1/8 inch latch projection that engages into the checkrail of the upper sash. The lock body has mounting holes that are spaced apart at 2-1/4 inch, on center.
