Both the seal and o-rings are made in Japan. The o-ring dimensions are: 37. 7mm ID x 3. 5mm thick. The seal is 22. 7mm OD x 12. 2mm ID x 4. 8mm thick. Application: This distributor seal and o-ring kit is designed to fit 1992-1994 Acura Vigor only. The Acura Vigor is unique in that the o-rings are a larger diameter compared to other Honda/Acura applications. Tech Notes: This distributor seal fits on the shaft inside the distributor. Over time, the seal becomes hard and brittle, giving rise to oil leaks. When replacing this internal seal, its a good idea to replthe distributor o-rings too. The o-ring is located on the outside mounting shaft of the distributor. Like the seal, over time the o-ring also becomes hard and brittle, leading to oil leaks in the area surrounding the distributor housing. If you have an oil leak, the o-ring is a common cause. No sealant is needed when installing either the seal or o-ring. All surfaces should be clean and free of debris prior to installation.
